Mollie Bernhardt
ABILENE - Mollie Bernhardt, 83, Abilene, died Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Highland Personal Care Home, Abilene. Mrs. Bernhardt was born July 4, 1902, near Hillsboro. She farmed with her husband, Jacob, in the Elmo, community. They moved to Abilene after retiring in 1973. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Abilene.
Her husband died in 1983.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Marlatt of Abilene, and Delores Ruhter of Salina; two sons, Walter and Floyd, both of Salina; a sister, Esther Alt of Herington; 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Danner Funeral Home, Abilene, the Rev. Ray Stites officiating. Burial will be in the Abilene Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Highland Personal Care Home Memorial Fund. Visitation is at the funeral home.
