Obituary from "The Oregonian" (OR), Wednesday, April 5, 1972:
ALBERT J. HERBOTH
Requiem Mass for World War I veteran Albert Joseph Herboth, 77, of 6325 N. Albina Ave., will be at 10 am Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Church.
Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7 pm Wednesday at the Killingsworth Little Chapel of the Chimes.
Mr. Herboth was born March 19, 1894, in Uniontown, Wash., and died Tuesday in a Portland hospital.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Society, Blessed Sacrament Church and World War I Barracks No. 3333.
Survivors include his wife, Florence; a son, William, Portland; two daughters, Carole Rusk, Portland, and Jackie Hanigan, Eugene; a brother, Harry, Los Angeles; a sister, Helen Schumacher, Moscow, Idaho, and 14 grandchildren.
Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.
