Jessie Jenkins Wall, a lifelong resident of Indiana, died during the last week of February in 1986. She was 92 years old.

"JESSIE A. HALL [WALL], 92, of Indianapolis [Indiana], died there Saturday, Feb. 22, 1986, at Community Hospital East. Born in Mitchell, May 28, 1893, she had resided in Indianapolis since 1985. Her marriage was to George Wall, who died in 1954. Mrs. Wall owned and operated Wall Grocery for six years, retiring in 1957. She was a member of Assembly of God Church in Lafayette.

Surviving are four daughters, Thelma Terry of Mitchell, Lois LaGoy of Lafayette, Evelyn Clouse and Faye Hornaday, both of Indianapolis; a brother, Charles L. Edwards [Jr.] of Lafayette; and two sisters, Eva Moffitt of Bedford and Lucille Cooper of Mitchell." [Obituary published in the Lafayette Journal & Courier (IN) on Monday, Feb. 24, 1986.]
