Evelyn was the daughter of Jessie Ann Edward and William E. Jenkins. She went to Mitchell H.S. where she played Basketball and Baseball. She was raised on a farm in Rabbitsville Indiana by her Aunt Maud Edwards Erwin and her Uncle Archie T. Erwin when her dad, William Jenkins died when she was about 2. She Married Harrison Henry Clouse on July 5, 1938 and they were married 66 years. She had 5 kids. Marilyn, Carol Sue, Toni Dianne, Gary Duwayne and Todd Harrison. She had Alzheimer and spent her remaining years in a nursing home in Indianapolis. She lived in Indianapolis most of her life. She loved to travel with her family. She bowled, rode her bike and took walks with her sister Faye Hornaday. She was a homemaker and loved her kids and grand-kids. She was a Girl Scout Leader and a Den Mother. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
