Teresa Pummill-Wickman, 87, of Kingsford, MI, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020, at her home. Teresa was born on June 22, 1932, in Kilkenny, Ireland, daughter of the late George and Bridget (Corbet) Bourke.
She married Jess Ira Pummill on July 1, 1953, at the Westminster Cathedral in London, England. They enjoyed 38 years of marriage and raised five children prior to Jess passing away in 1991.
Teresa worked for many years at the Dickinson Inn and K-Mart. She also was a long-time dedicated volunteer at St. Mary & St. Joseph Church, St. Vincent de Paul and the V.A. Hospital, all in Iron Mountain.
Teresa married Gerald "Jerry" Wickman on July 29, 2006, in Iron Mountain. He preceded her in death after 11 years of marriage in 2017.
Teresa loved traveling around the world, especially to her home country of Ireland. She loved spending time with her family and friends and will be sadly missed.
She is survived by her children: Danny (Paula) Pummill of Triangle, VA, William (Kelly) Pummill of Iron Mountain, MI, Rebecca (Michael) Kobos of Billings, MT, Michael (Sharon) Pummill of Lacy, WA, and Stephen (JoAnn) Pummill of Madison Heights, MI;
two sisters in Kilkenny, Ireland; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Teresa was preceded in death by 12 siblings.
Visitation will be held at the Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain Monday, September 20, 2021, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am with A Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St Mary and St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11:30 am. Graveside services will be at Cemetery Park, Iron Mountain.
