Barbara (Morse) Downes, 79, of Enfield, wife of the late Earl Downes, passed away on Wednesday, (November 23, 2011). Barbara was born November 11, 1932, in Bristol, CT the daughter of the late Roger and Ida (Duprey) Morse. She retired from the State of CT Dept. of Public Health after 17 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family. Barbara is survived by her daughter Deborah Walsh; her grandson, Jason Walsh and his wife Kelli all of Enfield, CT and a sister Donna Gadomski of Windsor Locks. She was predeceased by a brother William Schlicker.
