husband of Betty Jane Boward m. 18 November 1942 and son of Myrtle Marie (Brown) and Wilbur Marcellus Fox. Mr. Fox was graduated from Thurmont High School with the class of 1940. He served as a Sergeant with the United States Army during World War II and was part of the Normandy Beach invasion on D-Day. Mr. Fox was the owner and operator of Moxie Machine and Tool, Inc., Frederick, MD, from 1966-1989. He was a life member of the Thurmont American Legion Post 168. He was also a member of Graceham Moravian Church, Graceham, MD, and he was a former member of the Frederick Planning and Zoning Board. Mr. Fox enjoyed playing cards, gardening, and raising beef cattle. He is survived by four children: Cynthia Lou McJonathan and husband David, Waynesboro; Kay Linn Shook, Thurmont, MD; Dennis Lee Fox and wife Linda, Lavale, MD and Rodney Dwight Fox, Frederick, MD. He had 15 grandchildren: Susan Elizabeth Twigg, the eldest was raised together by her grandparents and her mother, Walkersville; John Paul Bewley, Waynesboro; Sr. Master Sgt. Raymond Henry McJonathan, USAF; Benjamin David Sherrard Walkersville, MD; Stephen Raphael McJonathan, Mount Aetna, MD; Samuel Payton Harwell McJonathan, Waynesboro; Michael Wayne Shook, Jr., Gig Harbor, WA; Andrea Karol Shook, Raleigh, NC,; Tammey Denise Torres, Walkersville; Laura Elaine Williams, Walkersville, Daniel Lee Fox, Louisville, KY; Aaron Emory Fox, Baton Rouge, LA; Emma Colleen Fox, Lavale; Andrea Fox Sadler, Boonsboro, MD; Rodney Dwight Fox, Jr., Frederick; Kristi Diane Licausi of Hagerstown, MD; 18 great grandchildren, one great-great grandson and four brothers: Richard M.
