Phoebe Ann Macek, 99, of Cameron, died on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at her home. Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at Marlow Baptist Church in Cameron with Rev. Wayne Kirk officiating.
Phoebe was born Chriesman, Texas, to the late John and Aurelia "Elia" (Garner) Hairston. She was a member of Marlow Baptist Church and lived most of her life in the Marlow Community. Phoebe was known for her love of her community and deep love for those in ill health. She was always at the door of new neighbors in the neighborhood to welcome them.
Survivors include her son, Jerry Bright, of Temple; daughter, Dorthy Bright, of Cameron; grandchildren, Burton Moore, Dillon Moor, and Skylar Cummings; and a great-grandchild, Kyleigh Huerta Cummings. L10
