Mr. Hairston was born May 31, 1920 in Milam County to John Hairston and Mrs. Garner Hairston. He was a lineman for TP&L. He was married to Bobbie May Crouch.
He is survived by 2 sons, Stanley Hairston and Rick Hairston, both of Rockdale; a sister, Phoebe Ann Macik of Marlow; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, also survive.
