Services for Lloyd Richards, 81, of Colorado City were scheduled for Saturday at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Howard Quiett officiating. Burial was in the Colorado City Cemetery under
the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home, Inc.

Mr. Richards died December 29, 1994 at Mitchell County Hospital.

He was born October 21, 1913 in Lindale, Texas. He married Alice Beatrice Rogers July 14, 1939 in Alice, Texas. She died March 10, 1985.

Mr. Richards had been a resident of Colorado City since 1952. He retired as a production foreman for Sun Oil after 43 years of service. He was the vice president of the ORYX Retiree Club, Southwest District.
Mr. Richards was a member of the First-United Methodist Church in Colorado City, where he was a member of the Men's Bible Class.

Survivors include two sons, Wesley Quinn Richards of Ben Wheeler and Roger Oren Richards of Dallas; one daughter, Jill Grant of Colorado City; one brother, Wesley Howard Richards of Longview; one
sister, Pauline Barrett of Longview; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
