Funeral services for Alice Beatrice Richards, 67, of Colorado City, were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Kiker-Seale Chapel. Rev. Henry Salley and Rev. Glenn Roenfeldt officiated. Burial was in Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Richards died Monday at Root Memorial Hospital at 9:40 p. m.

Born Feb 24, 1918 in Alexanderia, Louisiana, she married Lloyd Richards July 14, 1939 in Alice, Texas. She was a member of the Methodist Church and a member of the Eastern-Star. She had been a resident of
Colorado City since 1953.

A granddaughter preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Lloyd; one daughter Jill Lowe of Colorado City; two sons, Wesley Q. Richards of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Roger O. Richards of Dallas; one sister, Mrs. J. F. Giese of Honolulu, Hawaii; one brother, Jack Rogers of San Benito, Texas and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers were J. C. Brown, Ernest Clendenin, Fred Beaty, Dr. Ken Cowan, Frank Ginzel, Pete Warren, and Henry Bilberry.
