Services for La Fay Barwick Moorman, 60, of Route 4, Dublin, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church The Rev. Eugene Cariker and the Rev. Charlie Edge will officiate and burial will be in Northview Cemetery. A native of Treutlen County, Mrs. Moorman was the daughter of the late Ernest Leon Barwick, and was a 1960 graduate of Treutlen County High School, a 1964 graduate of Georgia Southern College, an elementary school teacher having taught in the Toombs County, Laurens County and Dublin City School System at Central Elementary, and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She died Friday in a Dublin hospital. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Hospice of Laurens County, P.O. Box 1344, Dublin 31040 in memory of Mrs.- Moorman. The family will receive friends from 7:30-9 tonight at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home, who has charge of arrangements.
