Betty Henderson, age 77, of Russellville, died Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at Russellville Nursing Center.

She was born July 13, 1935, to John E. and Laura Freeman Gray at South New Hope, Arkansas. She was a member of Russellville First Assembly of God and was a Russellville Ruritan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Laura Gray; her husband, John Henderson; a sister, Laura Faye Hutcherson; and a brother, Rev. U.L. Gray.

Survivors include her son, John Henderson, of Little Rock; a sister and brother-in-law, Glyndolene and Herman Satterfield of Russellville; and special nieces Deloris Hunter of Russellville, Scharlotte Maxwell of Russellville, and Judy Tanner of North Little Rock.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2012, at the Russellville First Assembly of God, officiated by the Rev. Ronnie Morris, and the Rev. Mike Norberg, with burial in Pisgah Cemetery near Pottsville, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, from to 5 to 6 p.m., at the funeral home.
