Laura A. Gray, 102, of Dardanelle, died Tuesday, November 22, 2005, at the Dardanelle Nursing Center. A daughter of the late John William and Nancy Hendricks Freeman, she was born March 20, 1903 in Pope County. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Russellville, and was the last living charter member of South New Hope Assembly of God. She was the widow of John Gray, and was also preceded in death by a son, Rev. U L Gray; a daughter, Lora Faye Hutcherson; six brothers and two sisters. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Glyndolene and Herman Satterfield and Betty Henderson, all of Russellville; a daughter-in-law, Ann Gray of Morgan; six grandchildren: Dolores Hunter of Russellville; Karolyn Taylor of Wichita, Kansas; Danny Gray of Phoenix, Arizona; Judy Tanner of North Little Rock; John Henderson of Little Rock; and Wayne Branch of Pottsville; and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be 2 P.M., Friday, November 25, 2005, at the Shinn Chapel by Rev. Keith Underhill and Rev. Terrell Bishop. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery near Pottsville, by Shinn Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law: Wayne Branch, John Hunter, Ronnie Tanner, Roger Gray, John Henderson and Wayne Taylor.
