Mrs. Lucy McClure age 82, of Brodhead died Thursday August 9, 2007 at the
St.Joseph East Hospital in Lexington. She was born on March 8, 1925 in
Rockcastle County the daughter of the late Sam and Linda McClure Barnes. She was
a homemaker, enjoyed quilting, crafts, and was a member of the Brodhead Baptist
Church. Survivors are: her step-mother; Mrs. Mary Barron of Mt.Vernon. Three
sons; Robert Earl Bullock, and wife Dorothy, and Jearl Bullock, and wife Edna
both of Eubank, and Donald (Duck) Bullock, and wife Thelma of Brodhead. Three
step-sons; Billy, Carl, and Bobby McClure all of Rockcastle County. Two
daughters; Mrs. Judy Kidwell, and husband James of Mt.Vernon, and Mrs. Rose
DeBord and friend Terry of Eubank. One brother; Henry Barron of Somerset. One
half-brother; Jimmy Barron of Mt.Vernon. Two sisters; Mrs. Zora Brown of
Brodhead, and Mrs. Dorothy McFerron of Mt.Vernon. Two half-sisters; Wanda
Navarre, and Helen Cameron both of Mt.Vernon. Twelve grandchildren, fifthteen
great grandchildren, and five step-great grandchildren also survive. She was
preceded in death by: her first husband; Hearl Bullock, her second husband;
Oscar McClure, by one brother; Bill Barron, by three sisters; Maggie Bradley,
Louella Brown, and Vina McFerron, by one infant sister, and by one great
granddaughter; Mary Ellen Bullock.
