Jearl Bentley Bullock, 66 years of age, of Eubank, Kentucky, departed this life on Friday, January 10th, 2014 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital.
Jearl was born on August 17th, 1947, son of the late Hearl and Lucy Barnes Bullock. He was retired from Tecumseh after 26 years. He was of the Baptist faith.
Jearl was survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Edna Lavonne Sims Bullock, whom he married on February 11th, 1968; one son, Scott (and Stephanie) Bullock of Woodstock, Kentucky; one daughter, Monica (and Jeff) Dillingham of Woodstock, Kentucky; one brother, Donald Ray (and Thelma) Bullock of Brodhead, Kentucky; two sisters, Judy Kidwell of Mount Vernon, Kentucky and Mary Rose Deborde of Eubank, Kentucky; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Bullock of Eubank, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Brandon Bullock, Bradley Bullock, Brooke Bullock, Jordan Dillingham, and Jayden Dillingham, all of Woodstock, Kentucky; one great grandchild, Taegan "Little Girl" Bullock and her mother, Cierra Alexander; a special pet companion, Jake; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hearl Bullock; his mother, Lucy Bullock McClure; his step-father, Oscar McClure; one brother, Robert Earl Bullock; father-in-law, Homer Sims; mother-in-law, Gertrude Whitis Sims; and one brother-in-law, James Kidwell.
Visitations were held after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14th, 2014 at the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15th, 2014 in the Chapel of the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Bradley Goforth officiating.
Burial followed in the Eden Cemetery in Pulaski County, Kentucky.
