David Franklin "Frank" Lemon was the son of David Lemon, Sr. (Nov. 1825, Ashtabula Co., OH-14 July 1907, Kent Co., MI) and Cordelia "Phildelia" Griffin, the daughter of Ezra Griffin, Jr. and Laura Peller (both buried in Brown Cemetery, Harrison Co., MO). "Frank" worked for the railroad.
"Frank" Lemon married Ellen Cassandra "Kate" Thrailkill, the daughter of Andrew JAckson Thrailkill and Elizabeth B. Hanks on 2 July 1873 in Nebraska City, Otoe Co., NE. They were the parents of 4 children: Nora "Maude" Lemon Clark; Clyde Eugene Lemon; Claude Andrew Lemon; and Esther S. Lemon Williams. "Frank" died at age 31, then his wife and children lived with her parents for a short while, as his father-in-law died the following summer.
