Kate Thrailkill Lemon was the second cousin one removed to President Abraham Lincoln; her mother and President Lincoln were first cousins. Elizabeth Hank's father, Thomas Zacariah Hanks was a brother to Nancy Hanks Lincoln, Abe Lincoln's mother.
