My Great Great Grandfather
Nancy Corn Gaydon's father

John Peter Corn 11; son of William Corn and Phebe Adams-Corn married Caroline Bird Davis, June 6, 1850 and they were blessed with 11 children. Josephine 7-8-1851, William 7-4-1853, Edwin 8-1-1855, Henry 11-24-1857, Nancy Ann (My great grandmother) 6-30-1860, John 7-18-1862, Rachel 3-5-1865, George 4-15-1867, Susan 1-11-1870, Decatur 10-24-1872,Daniel 5-12-1874.
Caroline Bird DAVIS'father was full blooded Cherokee Indian. This was told to my Grandmother and my Mother by Nancy Ann Corn Gaydon.
John and Caroline are both buried at Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with other family members. Their daughter Nancy Ann and her husband Archibald Gaydon are also buried there.
