Mr. Thomas Bocian, age 93, a lifelong resident of Toledo, May 5th, in The Toledo Hospital after a brief illness. Tom was born on May 1, 1905, to Charles and Katherine Bocian. He retired in 1966 from Doehler-Jarvis, where he had worked as a die maker for 32 years. An avid golfer, Tom gave lessons and was an unattached pro in his younger years. For many years, he and his wife were members of Highland Meadows Golf Club. He was a member of Christ the King Parish for 45 years, and of the Doehler-Jarvis Quarter Century Club.

Tom is survived by his brother, Samuel; sister-in-law, Lillian Bocian; niece, Diane Weidinger; great niece, Kristi (Brad) Roberts; and special friend, Pauline Dressel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leone (Kalt) Bocian in 1973; brothers, Victor, Roy, and Daniel; and adopted sister, Sophie Wisniewski.

Friends may call at the Foth-Dorfmeyer Mortuary, 3815 Sylvania Ave., at Woodley Rd., Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM, where funeral prayers will be given Friday at 9:30 AM, followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10 AM in Christ the King Church, celebrated by Rev. Fr, Neil Lucas, interment Calvary Cemetery. A homily service will be held Thursday evening at 7:30 PM by Pastor T.I. Redfern in the mortuary. The family suggests memorial tributes to be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
