Victor G. Bocian, 73, of Harbor Dr., Avalon Beach, died Tuesday in Mercy Memorial Hospital.

Friends may call after 6 tonight in the Sujkowski Funeral Home, 114-128 E. Alexis Rd., Toledo, where Northend Post 576, American Legion, will conduct a service at 7 PM Thursday. Funeral services will be at 9:30 AM Friday at St. John Catholic Church with the Rev. Terrence Kerner officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Toledo.

Born Oct. 4, 1916. in Toledo, he was the son of Charles and Katherine Bocian. He married the former Lillianna Minga.

Mr. Bocian was employed for 40 years as an inspector and checker by Doehler-Jarvis, Toledo, retiring in 1976.

An army veteran of WWII, he has a member of Northend POst 576, Toledo, American Legion. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Diance C. Weidinger of Sylvania, OH; two brothers, Thomas and Samuel, both of Toledo, and a granddaughter.
