Charles "Dommer" Stanton Bailey, age 79, of Langley, husband of Faye Bentley Bailey, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at the St. Joseph-Martin.

He was born July 31, 1933, in Martin, the son of the late Haskel and Area Prater Bailey.

He was a coal miner and a member of the American Legion and UMWA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James Edward Bailey.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Bentley Bailey, a son, Charles David Bailey, of Lexington, a daughter, Terri Susan Bailey, of Langley, a brother, Arnold Bailey, of Hueysville, a sister, Liz Allen, of Allen, three grandchildren, Eden, Chris and Josh, and two great- grandchildren

Funeral serviceswill be held at noon Thursday, September 20, 2012, at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, in Martin, with Nathan Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, at Ivel.

Visitation begins 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
