Robert Louis DeJulio April 18, 1948 " April 27, 2011 Published/Last Modified on Friday, April 29, 2011 4:07 AM MDT MONTROSE " Robert Louis DeJulio passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at Montrose Memorial Hospital. Robert Louis DeJulio was born April 18, 1948, in Montrose to Felix and Angelina (Dicamillo) DeJulio. He grew up in Montrose and graduated from Montrose High. After his graduation, Robert enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Germany. There he met his first wife, Bridget, and they had two children, Mary Ann and Michael. The marriage later ended in divorce, and Robert raised his children. On May 4, 1991, Robert married Darlene. They shared almost 20 years of happiness together. Robert was a kind and caring father, husband, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother and friend. He loved his family so much and was more than willing to help when needed. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Robert is survived by his wife, Darlene; daughter, Mary Ann (Pete) Cassidy; son, Michael DeJulio; grandchildren, Dezeray, Peter and Dalyce; and one great-grandchild, Koltan, and one on the way, Sophea. Robert is also survived by his brothers, Harry (Dorothy) DeJulio and Larry DeJulio, all of Montrose, and his sisters, Wilma (Bill) Thomas of Mesquite, Nev., Eileen (Bruce) Minnick of Valdosta, Ga. and Judy (Bernie) Espinoza of Craig, Colo., along with numerous nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Angelina; his brothers, Frank DeJulio and Felix DeJulio Jr.; his sister, Larene Traver; and one nephew, Randy DeJulio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Robert DeJulio Memorial Fund, c/o Crippin Funeral Home, 802 E. Main Street, Montrose, CO 81401. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011, at St. Mary Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow the Mass at Grand View Cemetery, west of Montrose. Arrangements are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home, 802 E. Main St., Montrose, CO 81401 (970) 249-2121.
