Mrs. Mullen passed away on Monday, September 17, 2012, in Lawton.
Burial is under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.
She was born on December 5th, 1934, in Lawton, Oklahoma, Henry Grady and Jettie (Miller) Ray. She grew up east of Lawton and graduated from Central High School in 1951. She was a USO girl when she met and married Arthur D. Mullen. They married on June 4, 1955 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Mrs. Mullen worked at the Court House in Lawton and then began working for the Civil Service at Fort Sill as the Chief of Supply. She retired in 1991 after 30 years of service. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She taught a glass painting class at the Center for Creative Living and was a member of Letitia Baptist Church.
Survivors include her two sons, Arthur D. Mullen, Jr. and his wife, Kim, of Oklahoma City; Robert R. Mullen of Lawton; her sister, Wilma Pettijohn of Wichita Falls, Texas; two grandsons, Travers P. Mullen and Talon Z. Mullen both of Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Gene Ray and Kenneth Ray.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening and from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
