Funeral services for William Kenneth Ray, 19-year-old Comanche County farm youth were held Thursday afternoon at Letitia Baptist Church.
Rev. Guy Swanson, former pastor of the Letitia Baptist Church, officiated with Rev. William A. Bruce, present pastor of the church, assisting.
Musical selections were sung by a choir composed of George Clopton, Jeanell Nease, Virginia Richardson, Leona Harris, Grace Taliaferro, Virginia Bruce, Iola Lane, Naomi Schultz, Mrs. Jim Nease, Mrs. Marion Howard, Mrs. Clyde Choat, and George Rogers with Miss Jimmie Lou Nease, pianist.
Burial was in the Letitia cemetery with the Ritter Funeral home in charge.
The youth died in a local hospital Tuesday afternoon following an appendectomy."
