Rosella F. Koerner, 81, of 4615 N. Clarewood died at 10:08 a.m.

Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1993, at Proctor Hospital emergency room.

Born Sept. 11, 1912, in Rankin to John and Emma Strauss Frederick, she married Dr. C.S.M. Koerner on Aug. 31, 1935, in Chicago. He survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Martha Elizabeth Koerner of Santa Clara, Calif., and Mary Alice Koerner of Springfield; and one sister, Cora King of Hammond, Ind. Six brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

She worked for her husband as a registered nurse for 50 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of the Peoria Medical Auxiliary and the American Academy of Family Physicians Auxiliary.

She was a member of Parkview United Church of Christ.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. The Rev. Carl Bollinger will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at the chapel. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
