Negro League baseball player 1933-1951. Catcher for the Jacksonville Red Caps, Cleveland Bears, Kansas City Monarchs and the Chicago American Giants. He batted and threw right. While with the Jacksonville Red Caps, he worked as a railroad porter at night and on weekends until 1943 when he joined the Kansas City Monarchs. In 1951, he left the Negro Leagues and played semipro ball with the Indian Head Rockets in southeast Saskatchewan, Canada.
