She married Joseph M. Peake, and settled in Hudson County, New Jersey and raised their family there. She was a much sort after neighborhood midwife, delivering many of the babies in local Kearny homes.
She died in 1950 from a stroke; her wake and funeral was attended by many prestigious locals and politicians. She was predeceased by one daughter , and was buried with her and later joined by her husband, Joe, who died in 1951. She was survived by 6 children, and their families.
