TEMPERANCE

September 3--- On the 29 of August Mr. Zachariah Studstill died at his home in Telfair County after a long and painful illness of the most baeful disease that human flesh is heir to--the cancer. He was a man highly esteemed by all who knew him. His wife died about 19 years ago. He leaves nine children to mourn his loss who have the symmpathy of the entire neighborhood.Zachriah Daniel Studstill was the son of William Hustis and Susannah Fletcher Studstill. He married Isabella Bain Maloy June 15, 1845. The house where he was born and lived still stands a few feet from the Dodge County line.

He married Elizabeth Hardeman 1778 in Beaufort, South Caroline. She was born 1760 in Cherhaw District, South Carolina,and Died 1804 in Bulloch County, Georgia. She was the daughter of Thomas Hardeman and Elizabeth Maybane.

Children of Zachariah Daniel and Isabella Bain Maloy Studstill are William Huestes Studstill born June 15, 1846, Telfair County, Georgia Died February 12, 1920, Telfair County, Georgia. He married Annie Elizabeth Clements, December 1, 1872 in Montgomery County, Georgia, daughter of John Judge Clements and Mariah Ryals. She was born February 8, 1852 in Montgomery County, Georgia and died December 22, 1924 in Telfair County, Georgia
