Elma Jewell Brock Burton, 810 Price Road, Eubank, died suddenly Sunday, Aug. 1, 1993, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was 69.

Born in the Delmer community Sept. 29, 1923, she was a daughter of the late George Washington and Cora Ether Muse Brock. She was a homemaker and member of McKinney Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Youless J. Burton, whom she married May 31, 1946, in Somerset; a son, James Galen Burton, Eubank; six daughters, Velma Wavaleen Brown, Betty Jean Brown and Sandra Jeanette Mink, all of Somerset, Janice Kay Stephens and Nancy Reva Chaney, both of Eubank, and Lesa Rose Lewis, Nancy; three brothers, Arthur, Kenneth and Hildred Brock, all of Nancy; four sisters, Ethel Hudson, Louisville, Pearl Dalton, Somerset, Elsie Hudson, Nancy, and Mildred Hudson, Indianapolis; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Wilma Carolyn Compton; and four brothers, Lloyd, Claude, Herb and Homer Brock.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Reynolds officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
