He was born in Nancy, Kentucky on March 15, 1931, a son of the late George W. Brock and Cora Muse Brock. He was a land surveyor for Hudson Surveying. He loved his dog, Radar and his cat, Sugar.
He was survived by two sons, Dewayne (and Neta) Brock and Edwin (and Donna) Brock, both of Nancy, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Michelle (and Todd) Bramble, Mathew Brock and Brian Brock and five great-grandchildren, Lauren Miller, Leyton Bramble, Laney Bramble, Cameron Brock and Cole Miller.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elma Baker Brock; his parents, George and Cora Brock; five brothers, Homer Brock, Herbert Brock, Lloyd Brock, Claude Brock and John Kenneth Brock and four sisters, Elsie Hudson, Jewell Burton, Pearl Dalton and Ethel Hudson.
Visitations were held after 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2010 at the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2010 in the Chapel of the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Noel Dodson officiating.
Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery.
