Mrs. Lillie Welch Offutt, 81, of 3744 Morrow, died at her residence at 3:50 p.m. Saturday following a sudden illness. A native of Gloster, Miss., Mrs. Offutt had lived in Shreveport for 30 years and was a member of the Hollywood Church of God. She is survived by one son, William A. Offutt of Bossier City; four daughters, Mrs. Loyce Tidwell, Mrs. Ruby McBroom, and Mrs. M. M. Tyler, all of Shreveport, and Mrs. Gilbert Noble of Dallas, Tex.; and one sister, Mrs. Harver Taylor of Gloster, Miss.
