William Campbell was born December 5, 1799, the son of William and Elizabeth Barbara Ohl Campbell/Cammel/Kemmick. Circa 1820, he married Catharine Keiser, daughter of Frederick and Maria Gertraut Hoffman Kayser/Keiser. William Campbell, Jr., and Catharine Kayser were the parents of 5 children: Frederick Keiser, Sarah, William Keiser, Catharine Ann and Mary Ann Campbell. William passed away July 10, 1881, in Springfield Township, Bucks County, and was buried in St. Luke's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Ferndale, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.


Death notice for William Campbell from the Doylestown Democrat, July 26, 1881:

"Campbell. --In Springfield, July 10, 1881, William Campbell, aged 81 years, 7 months and 5 days."


From the Orphan's Court Records of Bucks County, Pennsylvania:

"File #12335, May 8, 1883--William Campbell, Springfield Township. Heir Sarah Trauger (age 19), daughter of Joseph of Nockamixon Township. John F. Fosbenner of Haycock Township appointed guardian."
