Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Boone Funeral home for Orville Frank Porter, 71, of Route 2, Flemingsburg Kentucky, who died at 1:10 a.m. Thursday in the Mary Chiles Hospital, Mount Sterling, Kentucky.
A retired farmer, he was a resident of the Sherburne community. He was born in Fleming County Kentucky on October~3~1903, a son of the late Robert and Eleanor Moran Porter.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Clara Belle{Bradley}Porter; one daughter, Mrs.Morene{Porter}Maddox of Winchester, Ohio; two sons Donald Porter of Bourbon County Kentucky; and Jerry Ray Porter of Lexington Kentucky; six grandchildren and three great~grandchildren.
Burial was in the Longview Cemetery, Bethel Kentucky.
