Indian Boy, 18, Died Yesterday of White Plague
Isaac W. Heid, Chicago Park Indian boy, who was removed to the county hospital last Sunday, suffering from a bad case of tuberculosis, passed away yesterday morning. The boy, son of Mrs. Libby Heid and the late Hans H. Heid, was 18 years, 11 months and 22 days old and was a native of Burnt Flat, Colfax, Indian colony. His mother was born in Reno and his father in Minnesota.
The remains were taken in charge by W. R. Jefford and Son and will be taken to the Colfax Indian cemetery this afternoon for services and interment, at the burial ground Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
Deceased is survived by a mother, Mrs. Libby Heid; a brother, Frank H. Morgan and a sister Mrs. Ivy Fox.

Indian Rites Near Colfax at Burial of Isaac Heid
Tribal Indian rites will be held at 2 o’clock this afternoon over the remains of the late Isaac Heid, 18 year old Indian boy, who passed away early this week at the county hospital. The remains were taken to the Indian burial grounds near Colfax yesterday by W. R. Jefford and Son.

Indian Tribal Services Held at Colfax Cemetery
Tribal Indian rites, the significance of which are unknown to white men, were held at the Colfax Indian cemetery yesterday afternoon over the remains of the late Isaac W. Heid, 18 year old Chicago Park youth. Funeral arrangements were made by W. R. Jefford and Son of Grass Valley.
