2nd Lieutenant Burr was the pilot of U.S. Army Air Corps B-24H Liberator #41-29181. While enroute to the Santon Bombing Range, crashed 5 miles southwest of Wayne, Nebraska. Six aboard were killed. He served with the 451st Bomb Group, 726th Bomb Squadron at Fairmont Army Airfield, Geneva, Nebraska. Provided by Tim Cook
