Juanita volunteered at People First in Bowling Green,Mo. and Marshall,Mo. and was an avid advocate for people with developmental disabilities. She cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.
Surviving is her father,Clarence Carroll Sr. of Bowling Green,Mo.;one son, Ivan Johnson and his wife Stacey of Marshall,Mo.;two grandsons,Colton and Lance Johnson of Marshall,Mo.;two brothers Raymond Carroll and his wife Becky of Bowling Green,Mo.,and Clarence "Sonny" Carroll Jr. and his wife Gayle of Faber,Mo.; one sister Joyce Spegal and her husband Noahie of Bowling Green,Mo. and a lifelong companion George W. Plosser of Bowling Green,Mo..
She was precceded by her mother her sister,Mary Ince;and her brother-in-law,Robert Ince
Cremation rites were accorded and memorial services will be held at 1p.m. Thursday Oct. 28,2004 at the Second Baptist Church of Bowling Green,Mo. by Rev Don Amelung.Another memorial service will be held Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the Fairview Community of Christ in Columbia,Mo..There is no visitation but friends are invited to attend the memorial services. Memorials may be made to the Juanita Carroll Memorial Fund in care of Zehender Robinson Stomer Cookson Funeral Home 1435 State St. Quincy,Ill.62301.
