Born to Marksey Lafayette and Ardelia McCurdy Todd, Elsie grew up with 10 siblings. Her middle name was Armarie (verified by her living grandchildren) but everyone knew her as Elsie Marie so that is what is used here as her nickname and the initial on her headstone. She married Suel Issac Bunch on Christmas Day, 1915. Together, they raised a family of 4 girls and 3 boys. Elsie was born and died in Sevier Co., Arkansas but lived most of her life in McCurtain Co., Oklahoma.

OBITUARY..
Funeral Services for Elsie Marie Todd Bunch, were held on Wednesday, 4 Apr 1990, at 2:00pm at Lukfata Baptist Church, Broken Bow, McCurtain Co., Oklahoma. Mrs. Bunch had been a member of Lukfata for many years. Her service was officiated by Rev. Cletus Hawkins with burial following at Holly Creek Cemetery, Holly Creek, Oklahoma. Pallbearers were her grandsons: Don Brock, Rayburn Smith, Roger Smith, Roger Bunch, Gary Bunch, Larry Brinkley, Jerry Bunch, Bob Munnerlyn, and Delmar Shoults. Services were handled by Norwood Funeral Home of Broken Bow.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Suel Isaac Bunch in 1967, a son, Howard, in 1986, and a granddaughter, Shirley Rudisill, in 1984. She is survived by 2 sons, 4 daughters, and a sister. Also; 29 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, and 50 great great grandchildren.
