ALEXANDER SERVICES CONDUCTED
Funeral services for Alvin Alexander, 69, Broken Bow, were scheduled for 3 p.m. today in the Broken Bow Norwood-Welch Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Lloyd Treat officiating.
Alexander died Wednesday in the De Queen General Hospital Hospital in De Queen, Ark.
Born Nov. 16, 1907 in Gatesville, Tex., he had been a resident of McCurtain County since 1927, moving from Dierks, Ark. He was a retired state park employee and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Ora; one son, Phillip of Pauls Valley; two daughters, Polly York of New Boston, Tex. and Melba Harbour of Broken Bow; one sister, Annie Moore of Ashdown, Ark.; 14 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
Arrangements and burial in the Holly Creek Cemetery were under the direction of Norwood-Welch Funeral Home.
