Melba France Harbour Tonihka, of Broken Bow, passed from this life on May 3, 2020 in Denison, TX.

Melba was born March 21, 1934 in Sherwood to Alvin and Ora Della (Merion) Alexander.

Melba was affiliated with the Jewish House of Yahweb. She had lived in McCurtain County most of her life. Melba enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, and being with family and friends.

Melba was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Roy Harbour; and second husband, Wilson Tonihka; two sisters, Wanda Evans and Polly York; and two infant brothers; and an infant sister.

Melba is survived by her sons, Roy Len and Penny Harbour, of Broken Bow, Paul and Susie Harbour, of Broken Bow, and David and Brandi Harbour, of Broken Bow; daughter, Barbara McMullen, of Sherman, TX;

Brother, Phillip Alexander, of Oklahoma City; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and many friends.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at 10AM at the Crown Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Randy Watkins.

*My condolences for your loss of this good lady. I have good memories of Roy and Melba as customers both at Warren's 5 & 10 Store and later as customers of Warren Insurane Agency. They were good people and respected in our community. I'm happy that I got to know them and you, their family. I pray that all the precious memories your mother and grandmother created with you will comfort you.
