(WOODLAND RT. 1) Manus M. Mitchum, age 64 of Rt. 1 Woodland, died Tuesday, March 17, 1987, in Wedowee Hospital, Wedowee.

Mr. Mitchum is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. Susie Moon and Keenan Moon of Rt. 1 Woodland; one son and daughter-in-law, Ed Mitchum and Lisa Mitchum of Rt. 1 Woodland; one granddaughter, Nickie Moon, and one grandson, Luke Moon, both of Rt. 1 Woodland; and two sisters, Mrs. Eula Carr of Rt. 1 Woodland and Mrs. Eunice Alsabrook of Prattville.

Funeral services for Mr. Mitchum were conducted Friday, March 20, at 2:00 p.m. from Liberty East Baptist Church, the Rev. Doris Williamson and the Rev. Gary Baugh officiating, with burial in Mt. Carmel Church of Christ Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Richard Alsabrook, Tommie Alsabrook, Wallace Fetner, Kevin Carr, Stanley Baker, Handley Mitchell, and Todd Freeman.

Quattlebaum's Brown-Service Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
