Mrs. Carr died Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Traylor Nursing Home in Roanoke.
Mrs. Carr was a native of Randolph County, born May 16, 1913, daughter of Warren A. Mitchum and Ophelia Bowen Mitchum. She had been employed with Handley Mills and was a member of Liberty East Baptist Church.
Mrs. Carr is survived by a son, Eugene T. Carr of Twin Lakes, Mich.; a grandson; a granddaughter; and a sister Eunice Alsabrooks of Prattville.
Pallbearers were Keenan Moon, Luke Moon, Ed Mitchum, Shane Lasseter, Gerald Gosdin and T. W. Moore.
Arrangements were by Benefield Funeral Home, Wedowee.
