William Benjamin Bragg was the 4th child of 4 children known of to be born to William J. Bragg and his wife, Jane Dunlap Bragg in Weakley Co. Tenn.on Dec. 10, 1850. William's siblings were Margaret Kathering Bragg Bandy(1843-1916), Mary Frances Bragg Denning-Dinning(1845-1940), and John Monroe Bragg (Sarah Isabella Clark)(1848-1920)
William had infantile Paralysis (a form of polio) as a young boy. He was blind the last 15 years of his life and lived with his mother, Jane Dunlap Bragg. He was in his 70's when he died. He is buried in the Hopewell Cemetery, Gleason, Tenn.-Weakley Co. along with his 2 sisters, Margaret and Mary Frances. His brother, John, is buried in the New Hope Cemetery, Weakley Co. Tenn.
