Miss Rosie Lee Steele, 50, 403 E. Virginia, resident of Victoria for the past 45 years, died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday at her home after a short illness.
Miss Steele was born Aug. 11, 1923 in San Antonio, and was a member of Second Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at McCabe-Carruth Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Nelson Ponthieux, pastor of Second Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Lucie Chaney Steele, of Victoria; a sister, Mrs. Karl Watterson of Littletown, Colo.; and a brother, Dr. Allan Steele of Victoria.
