PROMINENT CUTLER RESIDENT IS DEAD; RITES ARE TUESDAY
S. Orth Quinn, 70, farmer of near Cutler, Indiana and lifelong resident of that community died Saturday afternoon at the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, Indiana, where he had been a patient for the past five days.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Quinn, he was born west of Cutler on July 21, 1873. He was a member of the Cutler Presbyterian Church. He married Mable Weaver, who later died and in 1925 he married Lena Shaw who survives. A son, William by his first wife, is dead.
Survivors include the widow, Lena Quinn; a granddaughter, Janice Carol Quinn of Flora; two sisters: Mrs. Ruia Cripe of Williamsport; and Mrs. Clyde Bonebrake of Lafayette; three brothers: D. M. Quinn of Frankfort; C.V. Quinn of Lafayette and Blanchard Quinn of Cutler.
The body was returned to the residence Sunday from the Leiter Funeral Home in Flora. Funeral services were held at the residence at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with the Reverend Rauch of Flora officiating. Burial was made in the Ball Hill Cemetery.
