Mrs. George Livings died at her home north of town early on Sunday morning after being sick a week with typhoid fever. The funeral service at Old Union, Tues morning were conducted by Elder Cornelius Airhart of Roachdale. Velora E. Livings, d/o Alfred & Samantha Mitchell was born Nov 3, 1860. She was married Sept 2, 1890. She leaves a husband and two children; a boy aged 8 and a daughter but 4 months old. She was a woman who filled her part worthily in every relation of life and her death is a loss to the community and a heavy blow to the husband and children. We understand Mr. Livings' father and mother will move here from Delphi and keep house for him.
