She was an assembler for the former Ren Well Electronics Co. and retired in 1969. She previously worked for Liberty Bakeries and the A&P Bakery in Springfield. She was born in Brunswick, Maine, she moved to Springfield in 1948 before coming to Chicopee in 1961. She lived in Fairview since 1982. She was a communicant of St. Anne's Church. Her first husband, Arthur J. Lafrance, died in 1945. Her second husband, Aime J. Ritchotte, died in 1976. She leaves three sons, Arthur C. Lafrance of Bonita Springs, Fla., Richard D. Lafrance of Chicopee and Aime M. Ritchotte, of Charlotte N.C. ; a daughter, Corinne M. (Lafrance) Dreke of Lynnwood, Wash. ; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was the mother-in-law of Cynthia Lafrance, Elaine Lafrance and Robert Dreke. Funeral Wednesday morning at Phaneuf-Blais Fairview Funeral Chapel and in the church. Burial in St. Michael's Cemetery in Springfield.
