Arthur Anklam was born in Lind Wisconsin, son of Adolph Anklam and Odelia Timm. He married Leona Mabel Brasch in 1920, and in 1924 they moved to Oshkosh. Arthur worked at the Paine lumber company for 24 years before passing due to an unexpected heart attack. Arthur and Leona had one daughter, Gertrude, who married Lawrence Ruby, also of Oshkosh.
