Charles Enoch Dreggors, 84, of DeLeon Springs passed away June 5, 2016 at his residence. He was born in DeLand, FL on July 2, 1931 and served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War.
Charles was a supervisor for Bell South. HE was a deacon at First Baptist Church of DeLeon Springs and a member of the Pinehurst Cemetery Association, where he served as president for many years.
He was predeceased by his wife Norma. Survivors include his son, Steve Dreggors (Patricia) of DeLeon Springs; daughter, Brenda Myers (Roger) of Gainesville; brothers, Paul Dreggors and Richard Dreggors and grandchildren, Justin and Chelsea.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 10th from 6-8pm at Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home in DeLand. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 11th at 10am at First Baptist Church of DeLeon Springs, with Rev. Allen Clark and Rev. Joe Chaffin officiating. Burial will follow at Pinehurst Cemetery in DeLeon Springs. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Florida United Methodist Children's Home, P.O. Box 4008, Enterprise, FL 32725.
