Born in DeLand, Mrs. Copeland was a lifelong resident of Volusia County until she moved to Oviedo to be closer to her family. A very active member of Grace Community Church, New Smyrna Beach, and former member of Eastern Star, she was a teacher for 32 years, of which over 20 years were spent teaching 4th grade at Edgewater Elementary School. Mrs. Copeland loved spending time with her grandchildren and traveling, liked to laugh and dance, and enjoyed helping other people.
Survivors include one son, Kurt Ingle; two stepsons, Robert and Delton Copeland; three brothers, Paul, Charles and Richard Dreggors; and five grandchildren.
